For some reason this year (and anyone who knows me will know this was a bit weird) I could not really be bothered to even think about my birthday

It’s been ages since I’ve updated this blog! The rally has kept us on our toes, so instead of rambling on about all the places we’ve been, I’ll just drop some photos here, and you can see what we have been doing. Currently on Flores Island which is the stepping off point for the Komodo National Park.

If you are reading this, and you even know where Indonesia is I will be impressed. Its one of those places I had just somehow missed.

Its always tricky, and often quite dangerous coming into a new place on a boat - whether its dropping the anchor, parking up in a marina, or picking up a mooring buoy. Each option has its potential hazard and sometimes we dont really know what we are getting until we arrive.
